Employee long service recognised with anniversary celebrations

With the end of COVID-19 restrictions, Mount Isa Mines, Townsville Copper Refinery and the Port Operations were finally able to recognise all those who have achieved their long service milestones in the last three years.

Employees with 20, 30, 40 and even 50 years of dedication and contribution to our North Queensland operations were celebrated.

The dinners are an opportunity for the company to recognise the hard work and commitment of our employees throughout their careers and celebrate their achievements with their partners and colleagues.

Employees were acknowledged and thanked for their significant contribution over the years to the Townsville Copper Refinery, Port Operations and Mount Isa Mines.

The Mount Isa Mines Entertainment Centre was decorated beautifully for the group of employees and their guests for the Mount Isa service recognition dinner. Meanwhile, employees from our Townsville operations celebrated their long service milestone at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

Paul Taylor, Manager Copper Refinery and Port said our anniversary celebrations are a positive way to recognise the achievements of our long-serving employees.

“These employees are some of the most skilled people in our business. It’s a time we can all come together to acknowledge the valuable contribution they have made, share in their career highlights, and reflect on how the business has evolved over the years,” says Paul.

Ettienne Moller, Director of Mining for Mount Isa Mines congratulated all employees on their long service milestone.

“Congratulations to all employees who have reached a career milestone and thank you for your dedication and achievements throughout your careers,” says Ettienne.
